Today, Mother Mother released their newest single, titled The Stand. For those who don't know, Mother Mother is a four piece Canadian alternative indie-rock group. Their debut album 'Touch Up' was an instant hit with those who were willing to do a little digging for it. This band is not a particularly well known group, but their sound is folksy yet cutting edge.
This new single is different from anything else the group as put out, but it still has that certain MM charm that I fell in love with. For anyone who's put one or both of the MM albums on repeat, this single is a must-have.
Mother Mother's new album 'Eureka' drops on March 15th, 2011. 'The Stand' has given me a great prelude; I'll be first in line for the new album.
